Slow cooker roast beef

Sear meat first.

Cut 1.5 lbs of potatoes into bite size pieces, place at bottom of slow cooker. Add about 1lb of carrots, cut into small lengths, place on top of potatoes. Cut 1 large onion into pieces, place on top of carrots.

Sprinkle 1 tsp of garlic powder on top of the vegetables. Place roast on top. Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper.

Cover and cook on high for 2 hours, then reduce to low for 4-6 hours.

Tasty, tender meat!
