I started a part-time job on October 19th for a travel agency that specializes in educational trips for schools, teams (like scouts) and seniors. We are only 3 people in the office right now, as the owners are away for a course. It's pretty busy, but a nice relaxed atmosphere. So far so good!
I also got some calls to teach, which is great!!
Kevin's father has been hospitalized for over 2 months now and had surgery last Wednesday. We were all really nervous (read: SCARED!), but it went better than we expected and Ron seems to be on the road to recovery. It'll be a long road, but he's headed in the right direction. Kevin, Darcy and I went to see him today. I had not seen him for about 3 weeks and I am pleased to say that he looks good; much better than the last time I saw him. He's gaining weight and in a good mood, too! Thank you to all who have called to inquire about him and wish him well.
Mom is having water issues again, just like a year and a half ago. She's pretty much been without water for over a week now. Kevin and I got the water going on Saturday so she could function, but by the time we got home, she called and said it was gone again. Anyone know a good plumber? ;-P
