3/4 C sliced mushrooms

1/4 C onion chopped

1 clove garlic minced

1 16 oz can tomatoes, cut up

1/2 6 oz can tomatoe paste

1/2 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/4 tsp dried thyme

1/2 bay leaf

1/4 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper
