Missing Person...

The Gazette

CJAD

Jan 15, 2014: From the FB page created by his family:

Today is a very unfortunate anniversary. My father went missing a year ago. What started as an unbelievable nightmare has stretched out to dread, worry and wondering “what if”... without any new information.

Not a day goes by without a pai...nful sense of loss creeping into my thoughts. While most people have been incredibly caring and understanding, it is still very difficult to talk about and comprehend.

A deep, gaping hole has been gorged in the lives of his family and friends - especially his grandchildren - because of his disappearance. He is such a caring, engaging person and would do absolutely anything for a friend or family member.

Anyone who knows him knows how much he loves to talk, and could do so for hours. He is also one of the few people in this world I spoke to on a daily basis. I am mentally kicking myself for deleting my old voicemail messages from him in the days leading up to this event last year. I could never have foreseen what was about to happen, and I miss our conversations...his reassuring voice is beginning to fade from my memory. I would love nothing more than to be able to see and speak to him again.

Gary - you are a wonderful father, grandfather, husband, brother and friend - we miss you incredibly and wish for you to come home to us. We love you.
