These images show the snow in front of our house. The long picture on the top shows the edge of the yard on one side of our driveway, the non-existent sidewalk and the huge snowbank taking up one lane of the street.
The bottom left is the same, but on the other side of the driveway.
The bottom right is our "yard" and front walk, which is totally obliterated.

Arriving on lake Barron Rd. The snow banks is higher than the mail boxes.
Snow on the roof of the cottage (left) and guest house (left).
On the left you can see that the snow on top of the little lean-to shed is all the way up to the roof of the cottage. We shoveled the cottage roof on New Year's Day, but lost the light before we got to the guest house. Anyone available to come and help? We will most likely have to shovel the cottage again, if the snow continues with the same trend.
In order to enjoy the fun n' sun of summer, "we" must not forget the work to be done in Spring and Winter!

Gorgeous! |
My birthday cake. Chocolate cake (made by my mom) with white icing. It was soooo moist!
After lunch and gifts Darcy stayed at Nanna's for a sleep over. Kevin and I went to McKibben's for supper. I had a Snakebite, frickles and a veggie burger with fries! DELICIOUS!! Afterwards we went to see "Parental Guidance." The movie was literally laugh out loud funny and a little touching. We loved it.
A snake bite is a drink made with equal parts of lager and cider.
Frickles are deep fried dill pickles.
I had a great birthday!
